Welcome to the Intuitive Journey Wellness Newsletter!

Introduction

My name is Emily Kretzer, and I look forward to sharing my journey and the supportive wellness practices that I have learned with you. This newsletter is a space where I will share everything that I have found value in along my journey, as well as opportunities for me to support you along your own journey through my classes, workshops, and other offerings.

I want this to be a space where you come for inspiration, learning, and connection along your journey. Life is full of magic. Let’s embrace it!

In the next newsletter I will share my favorite practices and more about my personal journey with you, but here is a brief introduction in the meantime.

About Me

I am a Certified Professional C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and a Level 2 Certified Aromatherapist with a passion for helping individuals experience the healing benefits of yoga, essential oils, and align more fully with nature and their unique life cycles. I am passionate about the power of nature and the tools of yoga to support wellness. I love to honor the wheel of the year through the lunar and seasonal cycles.

A Practice for the Full Moon

Happy Full Moon!

August 1st is the first of two full Moons in the month of August. This is also a supermoon, which means that the moon will appear larger since it is closer to Earth at this point in its orbit.

Within our beings, we have energy channels known as the nadis. The energy of the moon connects to our Ida nadi, which is where our creative, calming energy resides.

To honor this wonderful full moon energy in nature and in within you, I invite you to take time on August 1st or in the few days following the full moon to do something that fills your cup and helps you connect your creative, intuitive self.

What might this look like for you? Here are some ideas:

  • Meditate or do a yoga practice under the full moon (outside or inside with a view of the moon)
  • Take time to sit under the full moon and be present with its energy
  • Write a reflection in your journal as you sit under the full moon
  • Share a meal or your drink of choice under the full moon with friends and/or family
  • Take time for a relaxing bath, stroll, or other practice that allows you to find ease and connect to your creative self
